Our client operates in the Biotech industry. The company is located in Burlington, NC. The company was founded in 1978. It has 19796 total employees. We are helping our clients team to build out a commercial version of an earlier developed MVP, which is created to help doctors manage and process lab tests remotely and online.

The project is based on the following technologies:

• Cloud Technologies (AWS) with terraform.
• CI/CD pipeline.
• Atlassian products (bitbucket, Jira etc.).

• automate infrastructure in Amazon Web Services with Terraform by writing robust, easily consumable, standardized modules that can be incorporated into an existing CI/CD process
• review application requirements for proposed architectures to assure that they meet existing companies standard terraform modules/components. Identify gaps in our product offering and analyze the ability to deliver on project applications needs within the project’s proposed deadline
• work with project stakeholders to deliver robust, standardized applications in AWS using terraform
• identify engineering defects in the existing terraform code base and constantly improve the code quality
• update the terraform modules to assure that they run under the latest AWS provider and terraform releases. Work with project teams to integrate the updated modules into their release cycles
• performs code reviews
• support DevOps operations by integrating developed IaC into CI/CD pipeline builds
• write documentation as needed to support consumption of our clients standard modules
• educate DevOps project engineers on how to consume, configure and customize our clients standard terraform modules to meet project needs.

• have a degree in Computer Science or Engineering (or equivalent program)
• have 4+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer
• have 2+ years of experience with Amazon Web Service architecture resource allocation, and Terraform
• have experience with Jenkins
• have excellent understanding of CI/CD processes
• have experience with writing CloudFormation scripts – Infra As A Code (IaC)
• have excellent understanding of Agile and Scrum team
• are fluent in English
• have experience working in Agile environment
